Rotary President, Rotarian Dan Squier, said, “The Club has invested in a new Sleigh this year, so Santa should feel very comfortable!  Our street collections have always proved very popular, with Santa and his Snowmen giving youngsters, and the not-so-young, an early taste of Christmas.  Local people are always very generous with their donations for our local charitable work.

We are also very grateful to B & Q, The Co-op, The Factory Shop, The Fun Factory, Sainsbury’s, Southend Airport and Tesco, for allowing us to use their premises.  The money collected will enable us to assist those less fortunate than ourselves in our local community.

Our Club continues to seek new members who can spend an hour or two on Monday lunchtimes at Rochford Hundred Golf Club.  If you are interested please contact our Secretary, Keith Holdsworth on 01702 559246 or email him at keithholdsworth643@btinternet.com”.
